Oh, the new car. It seemed so perfect at the time. The shiny chrome, supple leather, high-tech extras that do everything but make coffee. And all for a low-ish monthly payment thanks to leasing.
Then came the security deposit, the mileage restrictions, the wear and tear penalties. Not such a great deal anymore, but you're stuck. And you don't even want to know about the early termination fees if you try and walk away.
Check out LeaseTrader.com. The website directly matches up folks looking to GET IN (take over a lease) or GET OUT (escape a lease) with each other. There's also some good research info on here as well.
Think of it as Craig's List for lease addicts.
